Altruist reinigingsfoam 2% Salicylzuur 150ml

This is hands down the best cleanser I have ever used - my skin has never looked better. However, as many other reviews mention, the pump bottle is pretty bad.

I took my first bottle backpacking and, understandably, it leaked everywhere. I'm not at all surprised due to the amount of shaking and roughing up it received on my trip but it would be great if there was a way to actually lock the bottle to minimise the amount of cleanser that spills - I had a very sudsy backpack.

My second bottle has stayed firmly on my basin since receiving it and, about a quarter of the way through the bottle, the pump has completely broken.

Again, the cleanser is life changing stuff but the bottle really lets it down.

Really like the cleanser, its very effective.
BUT I find the pump action dispenser does not work. The first one worked for75% of the product and then I had to pour it out onto palm of my hand. The second dispenser has not worked at all.

De hals vd flacon is te kort, het schuim kun je hierdoor niet goed in je handpalm spuiten. Heel onhandig!

I purchased this cleanser and was very happy with it and will buy again.

However, the following is for information purposes only. I recently went on holiday and took my cleanser with me. When using my cleanser on arrival, when I went to take the lid off I found it full of liquid and just it was my fault for not making sure everything was closed.

When I was packing my toiletries to go back home, I made sure the tube was turned so it wouldn't press down and secured the lid back on. But when I got home, the whole thing had leaked and soaked my wash bag.

Maybe a rethink on package might be in order.

I really like this product but the pump mechanism fails it. Altruist did replace one free of charge after the foaming mechanism failed but then that bottle has too. I have ended up buying my own foaming dispenser bottle and decanting it in because I like it that much. Please sort the bottle!
